Some Questions

1. Historically, isnt one of the main tenants of the Falange that it is both anti-socialist/communist and anti-capitalist? Yet your party seems to be very pro capitalist, granted a slightly different version than the one we currently have but capitalism none the less? I am mostly familiar with the Spanish and Italian Falange, so perhaps the Lebanese one embraced different economic theory?

2. You claim to be environmentalists, yet you support drilling in Alaska? Wouldnt this seem to contradict itself as that would destroy an important wilderness preservation area?

3. The falange I am familiar with is very traditionalist - sort of a 20th/21st century monarchism almost. And "third way" - not in the Nazi sense but meaning neither "conservative" nor "liberal" in the modern political terms for the words. Your party seems to be basically some "Religious Right" Republicans with alot of warrior mentality talk. I am not trying to make a dig here or anything just curious...

Thanks for any answers anyone gives.

To start off, the term capitalism is a very loaded word which can be implying promoting rich fat cats. Capitalism ranges from National Capitalism(CFPA) to Anachro- Capitalism(liberatarian).
The lebanese only embraced the idea of a militant organization but let economics open ended.

"2. You claim to be environmentalists, yet you support drilling in Alaska? Wouldnt this seem to contradict itself as that would destroy an important wilderness preservation area?"

Personally, I would leave it up to the states to decide about drilling especially when Alaska is for it. Other than that I remember that the animal population is booming due to warmth of the pipelines or be at the mercy of nature's cruel cold.

I don't remember either Lebannon or Spain ever have a monarchy in power with the falangists involved. This party is made up of people who are tired of the republican false hopes and/ or of people who want to support mideastern ethnic groups who have been displaced by pan-arabism/islam(such as the lebanese/phoecians).

As for me, I'm Liberatarian

Fair enough on 2-3. Just to clarify I ment that Franco was personally a monarchist (though obviously he never really took steps to establish one heh) and the Falange got a major boost when they merged with the truly monarchist Carlist party.

Thanks for the clarification - unfortunatly this party isnt quite what Im looking for but I do agree with some of your positions. Hopefully yall will make some noise sometime. Though my sympathies are more with the Spanish version of Falange, the Lebanese Falange is better than no Falange ;)

This why Falangism is often confused with right wing governments. The Spanish Falange(third way) had the Spanish Soviet(left wing) on their toes and needed the monarchists (right wing) to solidify their control. Franco, btw, was not the one that founded the Falange or its ideals to begin with. He was the muscle

Both are dealing with pan-arabism respectively in their own way. The CFPA used to be pro- Spanish falange but now its more "tamed".

1. The CFPA and our "Falangist movement" have very little in common with the Spanish or Italian variants. Suffice it to say that we come from a similar direction on the political compass, but as Americans, we have political and historical circumstances unique to ourselves. I would also say that if one were both "anti-socialist/communist" and "anti-capitalist" at the same time, one would have very little economic space in which to operate. What alternatives exist, the so-called "third way" is incoherent to say the least. Besides, we have a mixed-system as it is. Support for Capitalism, is support for property rights, which are one of the necessary pillars of Liberty and Individual Rights. It is in this vein that our support for capitalism arises.

2. The idea that "environmentalism" and Alaskan or offshore drilling are contradictory is old-fashioned thinking. 2008 drilling technology is much more advanced that 1970's technology. The potential for spills or other damage is infinitesimally less and remediation of previous spills shows that what damage may occur can be successfully contained and mitigated. At this juncture in History, our economic and national security trump such anachronistic "environmental radicalism" that would preclude oil drilling anywhere and everywhere, right here and right now.

3. We reject the Republicanism that says "let's just get along with the Democrats (leftists-socialists) and govern from the "center".(A center which moves inexorably leftward with each and every compromise). We reject the Republicanism that seeks to marginalize religious and social conservatives in the name of "modernizing" the party. We reject the Republicanism which says that the rights of political incumbents should trump the rights of the people who elected them. We reject the Republicanism that seeks favor in the salons of Washington and New York , rather than in the streets, factories, stores and the fields of America.

We support the Constitution of the United States. We reject socialist Hippies and left-wing scum that seek to radicalize our schools and our political establishment by subversion.

Does that clarify things a bit?
