This was a rather unexpected experience. I was at the Home Depot on 74th and Tacoma Mall BLVD (obviously in Tacoma, WA). While sitting in the van with my four year old son, I saw a red chevy tahoe with several "church of hate" emblems on it. Likewise, the organization's website was listed on it. This vehicle stopped briefly, and guy wearing a white t-shirt saying "church of hate" in red letters got in and the truck sped off. I firmly believe that this organization is still a threat to our nation and I plan to keep watching to see if there are more people out here in Washington with such decals and emblems on thier vehicles too. Likewise, if I can get a few pictures, I will.
I had never head of that before....a church of hate? Is it some variation on the Church of Satan? Or is it simply trying to accuse Christians and churches of "hating" homosexuals?

The "church of hate" is a real organization. The CFPA has some information about its founder here. Also, I just sited another at the library in Lakewood. Still too hard to determine if they have established a chapter up here or not. I will definately keep my eyes open, especially since my school is over by there.
I live in Tacoma as well. "Church of Hate" is a metal band. I saw them perform live once and it was horrible. They really suck. They had to resort to antics like cutting themselves on stage to get anyone to watch. It was a total freak show. They are really not a threat to anyone (except maybe a threat to your ears).
Fascinating. Two organizations by the same name? I wonder if it is possible that one is ultimately a front for the other? Thanks for the heads up, I will be watching.
I wouldn't worry about them being much of a threat to our nation, they're just another anarchist type weirdo rock band. I visited their website but didn't stay long. The real "church of hate" that is a threat may be your local mosque.
