This is nothing to concern yourself over. This is merely the "Roman" salute. I think your concern here is the fact that the nazis perverted this during WWII. That is why the CFPA uses the "pectoral" salute. The salute shown in this picture is perfectly acceptable and fine. I have no problem with using it appropriately, however I can assure you that I understand your concern.
