Yes it has been quiet here. Please bear in mind that many of us have other responsibilities besides the CFPA. I am a full time forklift operator, husband, and father. Also, I am a student at a non-denominational seminary pursuing a Bachelor of Theology degree. There is also a real possibility that I may be out of state for an extended period due to my job. If that should happen, I will likely not be able to post for a month or more. So yes, it is quiet, but that is because we have responsibilities to attend to.
It is not that the CFPA isn't serious. Rather we are deliberate in our actions. Such being the case, we can often appear slow, even non-responsive. It doesn't mean that we are not busy though. Sometimes what is seen on the surface isn't the full story. Our National Director, Patricio C. Bridges, does an outstanding job of keeping everything up to date and if a major change is in the works, the membership is kept informed. So, yes, it may seem slow right now, but we have known cycles of high and low activity on the forum before. This is no exception. I, personally, don't expect to see activity start to increase until after the Christmas holiday season. The CFPA is very much family oriented, as such, many of us will want to spend time with family for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Likewise, many of us have responsibilities in our respective churches and communities. There are even some of us who work in occupations in which our jobs affect people in other parts of the country. Thus, we are quite busy, just not necessarily with internet based activity beyond research or routine e-mail/messaging traffic. Please do keep checking back here though.
Hi, I have sent in my application to join a long time ago and have heard nada. Would someone please check this for me? I am Paul G. Pousson in Texas. I was searching for an email address on this site but cannot find one. Mine is pg_pousson@sbcglobal.net. Thank You.
