See, this is what I don't understand...how does gay marriage lead to incest?

This anti-Gay bigotry is a real burr under my saddle. Despite my name (chosen to hopefully make some of the "regulars" on here squerm a bit), I'm a pretty religious bloke, who was raised in a Christian home in the South. And you know what I think?

God is Love. True love is a sign of God. People seem to think that, if you're around gay people long enough, you "turn" gay. Much in the same way that hanging around with tall people can make you taller.

Homosexuality is NOT a choice, any more then you straight boys choose to be straight. You're attracted to who you're attracted to. You don't get a choice in attraction. You can't teach homosexuality, you can't spread homosexuality.

Legalizing gay marriage (which, from a moral and legal standpoint, I support wholeheartedly) will not lead to incest, beastiality, or pediphilia. Most of the people I know who touch little girls and boys happen to be striaght.

Being gay is not something evil or unholy. Any more then inter-racial marriage was, back when preachers said that "each race was made specially by God, and to mix them is unholy."

Just remember, in 40 years, this is gonna be a non-issue, and y'all are on the wrong side.

Anti-Gay bigotry? God is a bigot. Most homos are bigots. Most homos are perverted sex-crazed maniacs who can't control their lusts, emotions and are extremely immature people.

No one said gay marriage leads to incest! If the state is going to legalize same sex marriage then why not incestual marriages too? Let brothers marry sisters and nephews marry aunts or sons marry their fathers.

Homosexuality can be spread and it can be taught. All homosexuals are NOT born that way. So I assume by your logic a pedophiliac can't help who they're attracted to either.

Homosexuality cannot be compared to race so any argument along those lines are pointless.

Most of the people you know touch little boys and girl? Why do you know child molesters?

Any man who molests a little boy is a homosexual child molester the same for a woman who molests a little girl. Any person who molests boys and girls is a bi-sexual child molester.

Maybe being Gay is not evil or unholy the CFPA never said it was but having sexual relations with someone of the same sex IS evil and unholy.

Hey Francisco if you want to be Gay that's your business. If the state in the future legalizes same-sex marriage the majority of the people still will not accept homosexuality as normal.

I have a question. Why should anyone pay attention to what you say when you don't know the difference between "then" and "than" and don't know how to spell "straight", "bestiality", "pedophilia", or "squirm". It's obvious your education is lacking but that's OK you were born that way. biggrin

The entire point of the debate about gay marriage gets lost in the sensationalism.

The point is that the State has an interest in promoting the welfare of children and families, this is why the State SANCTIONS and (suposedly) ENFORCES marriage.

Gays now have ZERO impediment to obtaining all of the same exact rights that marries couples have in terms of the contractual rights of couples. This is right and just in an enlightened society. They have 100% complete TOLERANCE for their (debauched) lifestyles.

What they seek goes BEYOND tolerance, they seek the SANCTION of the state for their deviant lifestyle. They seek the SANCTION of the State for what is, in effect DEGENERACY. Gay marriage does not promote procreation, or healthy well-off children and families. This is why it would be wrong to accept gay marriage.

I cannot deny the right of homosexuals of being with someone. Just as long it is not under the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony.

Personally, I'd say homosexuals shouldn't have the right to be with each other, but especially not in marriage. Marriage between them is not tolerable at all, but them together can somewhat be tolerated. Homosexuality is known to be by most unbiased and non-liberal researchers to be a curable mental disorder, a deviance of sorts, which can be fixed. For frequent Bible readers, the Bible condemns homosexuals and their supporters over 5 times throughout the Old and New Testaments.

True, True. To the true psychologists, that are not affected by the liberal association APA, know that homosexuality can be cured.

What consenting adults,of any persuation,do behind closed doors is their business. The fact is that homosexuality has always been around and probably always will be around. But when they start having parades down mainstreet wearing dildos,like in Toronto,and many other places I'm sure as well,that's different...and not okay. When militant groups start to insist that little children in grade three need to be reading "Why Jimmy has two mommys" that's different...and not okay.

You are exactly right. These people are a lot like Moslems in that once you give in to one of their demands they just keep demanding more and more. When did public lewdness become a civil right?
